Why the Windows 95 theme?
• I just thought it'd be super cool and funny that someone's using such a design for such an important event
• Way easier to justify the lack of animations on this website because I can just say "Windows 95 didn't have animations, and since this site imitates it, I didn't create any"
• It's a nostalgic trip ( that no one asked for )
• There are very less Windows 95 themed websites on the internet and we need more of those
• I had already spent 6+ hours wrestling with the Windows 95 Design System it was too late ( also known as ‘I was too lazy' ) to push the reset button and start from square one
I must say, these are some pretty good reasons. But when I showed this website to one of my friends, she asked "Did you make this Windows 95 themed because Meghana and you were born in 1995?" and I went "Hmm, that's actually a pretty good point".
So yeah, the updated answer is that I chose this because we both were born in 1995!
I've been staring at this design for so long that I'm pretty sure the font is starting to mock me. As you are reading this line, I am questioning all my life decisions ( except the one to marry this girl ) and spiralling into a gloomy depression.
Are you expecting gifts ?
Honestly, yes. I am expecting as well as accepting gifts. But it isn’t mandatory haha (it is).
But also, we aren't gonna deploy bouncers at the entrance who'll politely ask you to leave in case you don't bring a gift (couldn't get parents' approval for this).

When was the last time you had food on a banana leaf? You might’ve had it recently, but for the sake of making my point, I am gonna assume you’ve never experienced it.

There are two events in Bengaluru. There’s one event in Haveri too but let’s face it you aren’t gonna attend that; infact you hadn’t even heard of a place named Haveri until just now.
